Good deal
#2
When I bought my 2002 500HO in Aug of 02. We drove to Union City, Tenn. It was an 8 hour drive one way. The local dealer would not lower his price of 6100.00 even after I showed him that I could get it for 5400.00 OTD. I just asked him to split the differance to 5700.00. He said 6100.00 was the best he could do. It was a nice drive and a great time for my 15 yr old son and I to spend together.

I drove to Ohio for my 3 TB's. The dealer here would not come off of his price at all. I told him I was paying cash, crispy $100's and still would come down so I drove done one night after work and back home the next. It was a long drive, but I saved about $1000....

I was lucky. I have never had to drive more than 45 miles and have gotten just as good of deals as most people on here. Buying a lot of machines and sending lots of other customers into the various dealers helps though.
