Default Just got a Big Bear... what can I do to it?

This is my first four wheeler, and I'm loving every minute of it. What should I take with me on rides, what kind of mods do I need to do and what can I do to make my experience even more enjoyable?

I noticed a good gain in hp with the kodiak with the pipe, filter, and new jets. Nothing like a sport quad would gain but still well worth the money.

Forgive my ignorance, but what are jets? Some kind of fuel delivery?

You might want to get some aftermarket skid plates, a-arm protectors, and/or stickstoppers. You don't want to knock a hole in the crankcase or tear a cv boot. You may want some shock covers as well.

Engine mods are great but proctection for the machine is like buying insurance. And it looks cool to boot.
