Default Clear Coat Fenders

I'm just curious if anyone has had their fenders clearcoated, either spray canned or done with a painter gun. I'm going to do a plastic renew job on both sets of my fenders for my 400ex, but I'm thinking of clearcoating one of the sets to see how it turns out. Anybody see this or have tried it before???

There was a thread about this on exriders.com under the plastic/bodyparts section. From what I read and the pics that were posted it turned out awesome. Just be sure you use really fine sand paper. Also Krylon is making a paint specifically for plastics, it is called Krylon Fusion.

Hey Speedbump...THANKS!! That's exactly what I was looking for. I completely forgot that I even registered at EXRiders. The posts over there helped and answered all my questions. Thanks!

Sand then clear coat. Sanding it will help the clearcoat stick
