overall how do u like your yfz? what dont you like about it? would u rather have it over the new honda?

 

love mine, best quad ive ever owned.. and ive owned plenty of um!...... things i dont like.. All the posts lately on differnt forums of rod/piston failure.. causing toasted engines... got me a bit nervous... im going to run the **** out of this thing in the last months of warrenty to make sure its up to par!

I want to get one of the new 450's but I'm leary. Remember back in 84-86 all of the high performance 2-stroke three-wheeler wars. the tecate was fastest, the tri-z was the most civilian and the 250r, well I don't need to say anything about that one. I'm afraid the yammy is faster at the expense of longevity. I have no experience with the yammy or honda but I'm waiting 1 to 2 years to see which ones more reliable. You can't win a race if your machine is broke down!

 

Plus have you heard about the nightmare it is getting the carb right?

Mine was easy after I learnt some of the basics, a lot easier than the pred.
