Default Anybody here running GBC Gator tires?

I'm fixin' up my new ATV. I plan to make it look better and function better while I'm at it. I already got my lift kit installed and my winch installed. Now I'm getting some HighLifter Lite chrome wheels. My question is...which tires should I go with? I have 25s in the rear, 24s up front stock. I'm thinking about going with 26s out back and 25s in the front on the new wheels. I'm looking at the GBC Gator tires as a possibility. They look like they'd dig in mud real good. Anybody here have them? Can anyone comment on their performance?

I don't have Gators but I have Mud Bugs which are very close in tread pattern. I really am impressed in how well they hook up. The would be a great tire in any condition!

I have 26" Gators on my 400. I dont think the tires will match up right on your quad because the 25" Gators have a shallower tread than the 26". As far as how they perform though they are an awesome tire. The 6 ply is great for puncture resistance. They are great in mud and on hardpack. They do feel like tractor tires at speeds below 5 mph,but at riding speed they are fine.Hope this helps.

My dad runs 27x10 gators front and rear on is 04 400. Has the vision Aluminum wheels and it not only Looks fricken mean but is great for off roading. Took it up dear hunting this year and if we had the stock tires on i don't think we would have made it to a few places we did without useing the winch. I would highly reccomend the gators. Pretty smooth ride on hardpack as well. No clearance issues either. Climbing huge rock slabs stump jumping and stuff is a blast with that thing!

I have 26" Maxxis Mud Bugs. They have a nearly identical tread pattern as the Gators and I love them.I think you would be better off with the Bugs as the tread depth on their 25" and below are deeper than the Gators. But that is just my opinion.
