2 aftermarket carb related questions- banshee
#1
my friend is building a 520 stroker banshee and looking for some carbs. he wants kehin air strykers but doesn't know what size to get. his builder is saying dual 35mm's but that sounds kinda small to me, so i thought i'd get a second opinion on that.
also hes thinking about the single carb set up. what size carb is usually used with this set up? what size carb should be used with this set up for a 520 stroker? the builder is saying 29 or 40mm air stryker but once again that sounds waaay too small. don't the 250r guys run 39's usually on their machines? youd think you'd want somethin way bigger for over double the displacement.

You guys sound like a bunch of clowns for even considering putting a 2:1 carb set up on a 520cc Banshee engine!!!!
No wonder why i read all this crap about built Banshees getting beat by piped 450s and Rappys!!!!!!!!!!!

i know i have been trying to steer him away from the single carb set up but he just wants to be able to tune it easier. he'll most likely get the dual set up tho. so 38 or 39mm twin set up is the way to go then?
