swingarm needle bearings

my swingarm arm was sqeaking real bad so I took it off and I founf that my needle bearings were rusted. so I need new bearings. how much they cost? I called my dealer and they said $18.77. that should contain all the bearings I need right?? and how do I get the old bearings out?!?!?? the manual says to press them out. how?????? please get back to me soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! cause I'm gonna try to get it fixed today!!!! thanks later

You can press them out if you have a press!!!. If not , this is just thought cause im not an owner of a 300EX but is there a chance you can get a socket about equal size in there and then hit that with a hammer. I did this on my R with the stock swingarm, I also have access to a press at work but heck this was just as easy. Or take a long punch and drive them out. Just take care not to sratch up the inside surface to bad. If so take a dowel rod and some sand paper to clean up. When you put it back together put some grease in there. That will keep some moisture out and maybe help them last a little longer. Good Luck!!

yea I got this long rod and got one side out then I used a long extension and socket to get the other one out. gettin them should be pretty easy....thanks,later
