Default NEED HELP!!!!! Trying to install new axle....
I'm trying to put my new axle on and I can't get the @$%$% nut off the axle. Is there some trick to it or am I just an idiot. I'd like to finish this tonight, please help. Thanks.

well if there is 2 nuts, you must losen the outer nut first

Default NEED HELP!!!!! Trying to install new axle....
what I did was used a pipe wrench to hold the axle while I losened the othernut

Loosen the inner nut that is closest to the brake? How do you loosen that nut first?

you must loosen the nut that is closest to the tire first then use a pipe wrench to hold the axle and turn the other nut. just like warrior 63 said.....

I tried that, the #$&#$& thing won't move. Any suggestions on how to get it loose?

I figured it out, I didn't take out the allen head screws from the outer nut.......I thought they were just holes. Thanks.
