I'm gettin a 28 millimeter keihn carb for my blaster for real cheap and I was wondering, will it help out that much? I don't have any motor work power wise, so will this carb's power boost be noticable or will it like bog or something

it's only a .20 larger than stock, it's not a big bore kit or anything. It's got a pro lite and instead of buying the expensive vito's piston which has a dip in the piston where it passes the exhaust port, I just had the port raised 2.16's of an inch. yeah it makes it spin up a lil quicker, but it's not a port job.
I know if I had it fully ported it would bring out the carbs potential but, until i do that, will the carb provide a poewr increase in power at least somewhat?

 

it should help out your a little on the top end. It might take away some bottom end snapiness though.
