Well here is the deal I might be buying a 2001 Raptor. Has Duncan racing graphics and twist throttle on it. Ran great started fine, he disabled the ignition though so its always on, no key needed. Just put in 1st gear to keep neutral light off. He said he will take $3000. Plastic is in good condition no cracks few stress marks. Let me know what you guys think. good deal?

If all it has is a twist throtle and graphics, $3000 is too high. Is there any other mods?

Hello, I do not know about the price, but I just finished my 01 -- 02 tranny upgrade, cost about $600 dollars and a few days for labor. Tranny runs fine now, use the guide on raptortranny.com, he walks step by step with pictures through the whole thing.

i have an 01 raptor and it went through two sets of cut gears then we put the fortin gearset in and its been great since then! if you can get the tranny bug worked out and keep the 01 gears which seem to be a little better for dragging then you will be good to go. i know 01 have one way bearing problems too ....i dont know about the rest of the years though! they also are the only year for the aluminum subframe which is kinda cool if you like polishing stuff!
