How nice is the Cannondale 440 suppose to be. I rode with a guy who had one and it seemed pretty nice. I was nervous when it came down to the drag between us. From a dead stop i walked him ( he isn't great on takeoff). We did a rolling start and i let him give the go. We were neck and neck till almost 4th gear and then i pulled around 7-10 bike lengths. His bike also had a full HMF exhaust. I was curious on how those things are. He has a laptop he hooks it to and changes the map inside of the motor. He said basically its fine tuning it (carbs, and timing).

Dales are not for the faint of heart. They require updates and care. Your YFZ pulled away on top, because the Dales 5th gear is ridiculously tall and the spacing is terrible from 4th-5th gear.. There is a fix for that. My 450 Dale runs right w/ my bro's cam modded piped YFZ except on sand hills the YFZ does better.. The Dale is Unique and rare and I bought mine, because Made in America ment something to me and there was no other 450's out. I had a chance to sell mine for a good price to buy a YFZ. I chose to keep it for they are truley unique..
