I have an 04 trx 450R for sale. Less than 5 hours of ride time. Has graydon nerfs with black nets, duncan chrome bumper, and roll design foot pegs. This quad also has the HRC hop up kit. Go to www.phillyquadaddicts.com to see photos.

i got the new TRX450R the biggest complaint i have is that first gear is rather tall. at some points its too tall when doing tight woods riding. i paid $6500 out the door thanx to some good negotiating, and knowing more about the quad than the salesman. lol. research pays off.

I went from an 03 DS650 baja to a 450r and im never looking back. The 450 is just more fun cuz i can throw it around and ride it alot harder in the trails. Im liking the 450r more and more each time i take it out, for the riding i do im glad i switched. My new honda i feel made me into a better rider.
For me, the what i thought was a "tall" first gear doesnt seem so tall anymore. Its just about perfect for the trails i ride on. The DS seemed like it had a shorter throw between gears, i seem to miss upshifting into second alot on my R. Before i go riding next im gonna lower the shift lever to see if that helps.
I weigh 155 and cant seem to get the rear suspension figured out, it wants to buck me off. I got the rebound set at the slowest spot, ill let the shock break in and mess with it more. If i cant figure it out im gonna save up and order a new shock and linkage from elka. If your on the thinner side i think thats the only thing you will dislike, maybe its just my riding style i dont know. I got rugburns on my inner thighs towards my butt from it, lol... and i do stand up alot if it gets too rough. The rear shock does seem to be loosening up tho the more i ride it. The rear shock is the ONLY thing that i dont like, other than that its awesome.
