Swingarm Skid Plate for 300EX

When you mount the swingarm skidplate to your 300ex's swingarm do you have to drill holes to mount it or are they all ready there on the swingarm, and all you have to do is mount it. Just like to know thinkin of gettin one, on my next quad.
