I bought an 86 200x and the few questions I have are what is different on a 200sx also how much oil does the motor take and what are the stock sprocket sizes.

200sx? Do you mean a 250sx? If so, the 250sx of course has 250cc instead of 200cc (obviously), and most notable difference is that is uses the utility type, wider front tire.

The sprockets on the '86 200X are NOT 12/40, that was for a '83-'85. The '86 uses 13/38. Not sure on the oil capacity. Fill it till the oil is up to the dipstick "flat to round" transition.

Man, alot of people in here dont know their machines very well from what I can tell from these responces to your post.

The 200X is a 3wheeler.
the 200SX is a 4wheeler.
unless maybe you are thinking of the 250SX, which is a 3wheeler.

the 200X and 200SX dont share any parts really.
they have completely different motors.

CHECK OUT MY SITE FOR ALL THE INFO YOU NEED, I even have 200SX pics on there.
