from everything I hear the heelclicker is the kit to get for the Sportsmans!!! Pretty easy install with alot of gains. Just don't expect your top end speed to change much

I just installed a hot seat performance hypershift kit in my 04 500ho-I think I'll be taking it out very soon-definitely not what I wanted-the gut that sold me the kit said it was for low end and mid range performance--the bottom end power out of the hole is
terrible! this thing is really a pig off the line--it did however improve the mid range-it runs better from about 10-40 mph., the machine is alot smoother and the engine braking is 10 times smoother-but the hole shots suck. I should have went with the
dalton big tire kit or heelclicker kit.
does anybody else have suggestions?
Excellent forum-got lots of info from everyone when looking for a sportsman

Guys with these stock engines all you really need is a White polaris primary spring and maybe a Blue Aaen secondary(optional) no need for big bucks.

I like the Erlandson (EPI) kits, especially the black secondary for big tires. It really puts the power down and minimizes belt slip.

Just getyou a White Polaris primary spring to start with then after you see what that does for you get a secondary spring and see what it does. This is the best way to see what is going on.

I disagree, while a spring swap alone will change your engagement point and maybe get you off the line faster, A Kit with added weights will grip the belt better and capture alot of lost torque that comes from a slipping belt.
