Holeshot H-D ok for sand?
#1
i ride a yfz450 and have gotten sick of those stock tires. i was thinking of getting ITP holeshots and i have been leaning towards the H-D's. I ride trails alot, lots of sand and i will be going to the MX track. How do other holeshots perform in sand and how do you think these extra wide H-D's will do? i heard Razrs are horrible in sand.

When I say the H-D's are good for sand, I am NOT refering to the dunes. Just the kind of sand you would find down a desert wash, or something like that.

i rode on a sandy trail that was pretty short and my xcr holeshots worked pretty good although i cant compare to paddles at a dune but you could get those tires that you flip i dont know what they are called but my buddy has them on his rappy although they are big and i think stink for mx
