NO problem so far with my 2003 4x4 400 .the best part is I don't have to down shift when climbing hills or trying to go through heavy mud like some of the other guy's I ride with .

I thought I was a manual man but after owning the 03 400I auto, I will not go back! The auto is the way to go! If you are going to do alot of towing or pulling then I would opt for the manual but I love the auto!
The 400 is plenty for me but the 500 would be even better! depends on what you are going to use the atv for? I'm happy with the 400I auto and I recommend it!!

The 400 auto is pretty nice. Only had a slippage problem once this weekend I drained the case alittle water inside from mudding and let it sit an idle for a minute and it was good to go after that. If your looking for a speedy wheeler the manual is way faster.

I don't have any problem with the auto.
Last weekend I drug a 550lb snowmobile about a mile to the shed on a skid not on a trailer.
No problem. No belt slippage.
