Howdy guys,

I had a problem a couple months ago while snow plowing. I have an '01 500 manual, after I pushed a load of snow into a bank, went to shift from 1st, to nutral, to reverse, and the shifter got hung up between 1st and nutral. It wasn't in any gear(giving throttle didn't move the machine, but I couldn't push the machine either since something in the trans was aparently binding), and the shifter was frozen, as in would not move up or down, at all.

After cussing for about 10 minutes, I shut the machine off, went to warm myself up inside, came back out a few minutes later, fired it up, and it went into gear, as if nothing happend. It hasn't duplicated this again (yet), but I am curious if anyone has had this happen before, and more so, what DID happen, and why.
