Hey everyone i normally post under JLsparky7 i just wanted to tell everyone that i just bought a brand new 2004 banshee and im trying to kill time until i can pick it up tomarrow at 3pm. Man minutes have never been so long i feel like a kid on christmas eve [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] how did all of you feel when you got your quad on the ride home or when you were waiting to get it?

 

I got it for 5500 with a helmet.

thats awesome that first ride is scare the crap out of you ...hopefully because my first ride on mine and i was shaking.

 

thats what i hoping, i rode a polaris predator a couple times this past week and it wasnt doing it for me. So im giving the banshee a shot, i heard there the biggest adrenalin rush of them all. Any suggestions on what mix i should run? I heard your supposed to run 20:1 for the first few tanks then to 32:1. i already have a oil picked out and im gunna run 94 octane.

 

ya that sounds right run it 20:1 for 2-3 weeks then switch to 32:1 be sure to take it easy for a little to break in the engine. do you know what mods your putting on yours yet?

MAKE SURE YOU DONT RUN A SYNTHETIC OIL FOR THE FIRST FEW TANKS!!!

Banshees stocked are really choked down from the dealer. wait till you get pipes.

Oh yeah get a new air filter and adaptor plate as soon as possible. The stock one is $hit.

 

why cant i run synthetic? I plan on getting pipes and an airfilter in the first couple weeks here.

 

im probably getting an K&N airfilter and im thinkin about fmf fatty pipes what do you all think? I need it to be quiet so it doesnt **** off the neighbors too much.
