Blaster rear hub swap??
#1
I just picked up a Blaster today and after looking it over I realized that the rear hubs are a different pattern than my Warrior. Is it possible to swap the stock Blaster hubs for Warrior or Banshee hubs? If not, is there a cheap conversion for this? I'd like to keep the same bolt pattern on them both, but maybe it would just be cheaper to buy more rims/tires.
If I have to buy rims, whats the best deal on some 9's for the rear? I think the 8's look a little too small.
Another question...has anyone used a Warrior hydraulic brake on the rear of a Blaster? I saw a mount for the caliper on e-bay, but does it work well and is it an easy install?
Thanks!

Its easy to pull the hubs....at least it was on my Warrior. First remove the tires. Then you just pull the pin out, take off the hub bolt (I used an impact wrench for this), then you may have to tap it off. Mine actually just slid off fairly easily. I figure this is a cheap way to be able to get some 9" rims for the rear. I see nearly new raptor/warrior/banshee rims on e-bay all the time for sometimes real cheap.
Thanks for the help!

Maddog is right but only the rear. The blasters have drum brakes up front so you need blaster specific ones. The rear can be swapped but watch out for the bolt pattern. The rear blaster bolt pattern is 4/110. . .i think the banshee's is 4/115
