I have a 93' Yamaha Waveblaster right now that is going through some cosmetic work....its a 701cc twin 2-stroke...its a one seater stand up it has some of the quickest steering ever to be had on a PWC....it corners better than any ski Ive ridden and it jumps very willingly!
Body:Viper Yellow with neon orange scallops going from the left to the right side pinstriped in electic blue!
Hull:Gelcoat white
Handlebars: chopped off MSR Dominators
Im about to start with performance parts such as a new CDI, Flame arrestor, and pipe/waterbox!!!!

I have an 03 Sea-Doo GTX 4Tec SC and a 04 RXP. Love 'em both.
Diddo on the web sites, but if your interested in Sea-Doo, also check out www.sea-doo.net.
The GTX is a rather large 3 seater. Great for family or pulling skiers, wakeboards, tubes etc.. It is a 1500cc 3 cylinder supercharged 4 stroke pushing 185 hp. This ski is one of the best for rough water. Top speed is between 61 and 64. Most see around 62 mph. (these are GPS and/or Radar Speeds)
The RXP is Sea-Doo's newest ride. It's a 2 person ski. It also has the 1500cc Supercharged 4 stroke, however they have made some changes and it pushes 215hp. It is hands down the fastest production (stock) ski made. Handles the rough ok. Top speed is between 67 and 70. Most see around 68 mph. (these are GPS and/or Radar Speeds)
Also, speedometers on ski's can be off anwhere from 3 to 10 mph. Never beleive any speed that is read from the speedometer.
Alot of dealers will hold a demo day on a lake or river to let you try out all the models. Ride as many different ski's as you can. Try not to get wrapped up in the brand bashing debates. Just get what's comfortable for you.

dunecrazy, thanks for the info. i was thinking about the 4-tec wakeboard edition myself. would love to check out the rxp as well, but i've never rode before so 155hp should be enough plus i wanna pull skiers so....anyways thanks again

I've got an 02 Yamaha FX140, and love it. Its a four-stroke, so i dont have to worry about making sure i have oil everytime i gas up. Great on gas and plenty of power. I can pull a tube full of kids and no probs.
Definetely go with a four stroke if you want to stay out a while to have fun. Not to mention the reliability.
