I started up my kodiak 450 today and let it idle for about 15 minutes,,
I noticed that the reverse light was flashing.
I shifted in reverse and the light stayed on solid,, I put it back in park and shut it off and started it again and it started to blink again while the quad was in park,,,any ideas???????

 

It will do it once in a while when the engine is running but you're not moving, did you have the choke on? or is the idle set too high? also, if you rev the engine the reverse light will start to blink at you.. nothing to worry about though

I had the same thing happen ealier this spring and I noticed it was not fully in "Park" rocked it back and I heard it click into park, I had heard it click the first time and I thought it was in but when I rocked it I heard it click again. Now it was not a loud click when you normaly put it into park but it was softer, like the synchro was off just a little bit. Have not had it happen since that day, was makeing wondering when it did it though. AlaskaBoy.

 

Mine hasn't done that, but as Alaskaboy said, sometimes you have to rock or give it a little gas to get it into gear.
