Default Another rebuild question

I know I know another rebuild question i have been doining a search all day on them and i have learned alot. I own a kfx700 and love it to death, and i am fixin to get my 454ss and sandrail sold soon hopefully, and am lookin in to buyin a 1998 to 2001 banshee. with atleast pipes jetted k&n and maybe coolhead. First question what do coolhead domes do. i am clueless on that. 2 question how easy is it to rebuild a banshee like what things do u have to switch out, last question is there a kit that comes with every thing or do i have to buy seprete, what is the best choices like pistons ect.. Thanks guys for ur help yamaha people are alot more helpful than kawasaki people.

domes basically control how much compression the piston puts on the fuel/air mixture at top dead center. a larger dome gives the piston more area to compress the fuel/air mixture which in turn makes less compression. the smallest dome you can run at sea level on pump gas is a 22cc dome. as far as rebuilds go, I'm 15 and they aren't a problem for me. buy a climer manual and it will walk you through the whole process.
