Anyone who runs the 4snows! I'm looking at getting 22x10x8 4snows. I'm wondering what size rim would be best. Would a 8" or 10" wide wheel be better? Seems like an 8" wheel would allow for more growth of the tire, but a 10" may get more bite by a wider footprint. Also is there anyplace other than Chapperal, and 4atvtires.com?

 

I ordered mine from Chapperal, and run a 10"rim.. I thought about the same thing you are when I ordered them and finally decided to go with the 10"

Cool I found some, and ordered them on 10" rims after talking to the guy. I'll have them on by the ATPT Nationals! Wooo Hooo! Maybe even get to practice/ setup the bike with them.

 

have you seen the new tires in the dirtwheels mag that are called zippers, thay look like 4-snows but not sure about the coumpound or the thread pattern

 

1bad - I seen those, don't know how they would do but they look pretty cool.

bad - glad you will have them you will need to get a feel for them and see what kind of gearing to run.
