You don't need to rejet if you didn't change anything from stock and it ran ok before.Pull the fuel line off of the carb and drain the tank out yourself. You will probably have to remove the float bowl off of the carb and clean it all out again. Also check the rubber connector that joins the carb to the cylinder. These can rip after awhile and cause a backfiring problem.Sounds to me like its backfiring because its running lean, either cause its not getting enough fuel or its sucking air.

Dealers suck big time, had my carb all messed up, and all I wanted was for them to rejet it. I ended up doing it myself, I think the jets were just gummed up or something, had to richen the needle a bit and well I aimed the accelerator pump nozzle a bit and wow, it runs like a dream now. My warrior was only a '01, all stock, but needed a new set of jets I guess.

If it was just clogged and it is still stock I would drain your tank and clean it than I would go throught he carb and take the jets out and take a compressor and blow them out than I would go through it with some carb cleaner but i'm 100% sure you don't need to rejet unless you have done modifications that would increase the air flow
