1994 Yamaha warrior no spark

Default 1994 Yamaha warrior no spark

So I got a 1994 Yamaha 350 warrior from a friend he said he had the engine rebuilt recently but it was having electrical issues he replace the starter silonoid sence I got it I've replaced the stator but it's still not getting stark any ideas on how to fix this or figure out what's wrong would be greatly appreciated

Of all the problems that can cause a "no spark" issue, the least likely is the stator, on one of the big name brands anyway. I have a Honda 400 Auto in at the moment, the stator is crispy fried and it runs fine, until the battery goes flat anyway. Get a workshop manual for it and go through the test sequences. Most likely causes, plug, coil, CDI, trigger coil or a fault in the loom.
