Default N.O.S. Sneaky Pete

Has anyone ever put a Sneaky Pete system on their quad? Im about to install one on the Warrior. The system is powered by 2- 9v batteries, so its pretty ideal for ATV applications. Of course you do have to do a little custom fabbing and prob. play with jetting, so its not as plug-and-play as someone like Boondocker's kit, but it is a LOT cheaper. I just won a 1 month old kit off of ebay for $160, bottle and everything. It comes pre-jetted for a 25 shot. I'll probably re-jet and go lower at first and work up to a larger shot.

I'll let you know how things turn out.

I think you will be fine if you are careful. If I remember right the Sneaky Pete has no fuel augmentation? I never did like that deal. It should pull in enough fuel to be fine if you jet a little fat.

I personally like to have the extra fuel in there the get the fuel/air where it should be. On a car, shooting an extra is no big deal. But on a tiny quad motor, if your fuel/air is off by much, you are going to hurt things................fast.

Look at it this way. With your quad you are shooting almost 100% of engine output. THATS A BUNCH!!!! On a car, that would be like shooting 300HP on a 300HP stock engine.

Be cautious and you will be fine; get greedy and you will run over your crank before you can say, "what the.........."
