Gotta tell you all.....

I've been riding my Bomb more and more on long rides...
Long like 300 miles in one day... across the desert and Mexico trails.

The seat is comfy, but my knees would get sore from sitting to low on the bike (I'm 6'2").

I took my seat in to CEET Racing here in SoCal....
In one week, I had a new cover and a 3" taller foam installed.
All for a killer price. (It helped my friend knows the manager).

I just thought I'd share the info to all of you Bombers out there.....

If you feel like your sitting on a sway back horse and stuck in the front half of the seat....
The taller foam works awesome!!!! However... if you like your Bomb smaller... don't go with the taller foam!! My quad sits as tall as my CRF450 side by side. And it gets a tad top heavy feeling. But you get used to it in a matter of minutes... using it to your advantage. On a track, it'd probably suck.... but out in the dunes, or in the desert... it's awesome!!!!

My butt doesn't get sore... and neither do my knees.

do they have a full gripper seat cover for the ds yet?

 

I'm sure they do... as mine was custom made as a FULL gripper....

I compare it to the stock one...
The whole deal of my seat is comfort... and height. It's definitely uglier now...
