Is there a shop making them for TVI?

 

I know the history of tvi's swing arms.Why do you ask?[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

 

I justed replaced my POS TVI swingarm. Go with another company. I will have plenty to say about Gary at a later date but I would not buy a spark plug from TVI.

 

What happened to the swing arm?? was there a problem with it, or just with Gary

My swingarm cracked in quite a few places. I have pictures of if. When I called Gary he send it to him. So I shipped it to him. After looking at it he said it was my fault and none of his race equipment has a warranty. Then he tells me " out of the goodness of my heart I will take care of it" Those were his exact words. 2 days later he call me and says well it is only $60 how do you want to pay for it. I guess Gary goodness of his heart has a price tag on it. Long story short he makes me pay. Then the jerk sends it COD so shipping costs me another $15. Gary has called me yelling at me because of this forum. After I spend over $2000 bucks with him he calls me and yells at me. He can kiss my A$$. Gary has lied to me on other times. I will never have anything good to say about him or his products. Once someone lies to me and doesn't live up to his word its over. Oh and by the way his 720 did only make 2.5hp gain over my stage 2.

 

wow i have thar swingarm and have cracked it but put it to some hard pounding, i ask gary about it and heard some welds were ground smooth, i don't know that for a fact having never seen the swing arm. but a-arms and swingarms are something i would leave alone. having a stage 2 and a 720 i know that to be a great 2.5 hp, but that is based on hundreds of races, no dyno.

 

Sandman, some the welds were smoothed out. I am not denying that. If you would see the arm you can planing see that the welds on the shock mount have not had full penteration. My problem is with Gary making promises to me than breaking them or just plain lying to me. He looked at the swingarm and talked to me, said he would take care of me than didn't. I realize product can be defective or I could have messed it up but that is not the issue. Gary's customer service issn't there. I guess my business standards are just much higher.

As far as my 720 if you think 2.5hp for $1400 is good your nuts. Oh well I do still like my bike and it does hit harder but nothing like what Gary claims.

 

the stage 2 and my 720 are so far apart it's not worth comparing but mine was closer to 3000. well like i said i never saw any welds or even the arm just heard the welds had been smoothed. i'll look at mine closer to see if there are any cracks around the shock mount.

 

This is why I was asking. Does he have a shop making them for him or is he doing them at his shop.
