Default spark plugs loosening while riding

Anyone had problems with their spark plugs unscrewing while riding? This was happening to a friends banshee the other day. It has a cool head and the left side plug kept turning out while riding. This was the first ride on a total top-end rebuild and we tightened it several times with no luck. Any similar problems or possible fixes? Thanks

Is it a new plug? If it isn't then try a new plug and a torque wrench.

Try wirelocking them, I've never heard of plugs loosening.

This could be or not the case but detonation could cause the plugs to loosen, what size domes are in the head and what octance is he running?

Not sure what size domes possibly 20's and it did not seem to be detanating. He was running pump gas, but the compression is at 155 so it should be fine on pump gas. We replaced the plug once and then the new one still came out several times. Maybe we need to try a new plug again?

I had this happen on my Banshee once......

I put new plugs in, gave them a good German torque , and it never happened again. this happened right after I got new pipes and K&N so I had been taking me plugs in and out checking me jetting. I think that had something to do with it.

Hiram is right.... The plugs loosening is caused by detonations(I know from a bad experience). 20cc domes are fine on pump gas (93 octane) as long as your at least 650ft above sea level. This also happend to a used truck my buddy bought but it wasn't anything to do w/ detonation. The #2 and#5 plug holes had been crossthreaded..... so that MIGHT be the case. It's more than likely detonation though.
