As a first time buyer, I would be interested to read what other riders says about a chioce between a Yamaha Beartracker 230cc and a Honda Recon. Both are a tad over $3000. I do not jump or want to go very fast just want a reliable ATV - I sound like my parents! Anyway, which one would you pick?

 

The Recon but you might also want to consider the Ozark.

 

I've beat the hell outta my lil recon and never had to do anything to it but change the oil in it. Takes a beating and asks for more!

 

The Recon is a sweet little machine. Light (for a utility), agile, durable, simple maintenance, and fun to ride. It is an entry level utility however, so it does have its performance limitations.

Sorry, not familiar with the Yamaha.

 

Suzuki Ozark. It's better than the Yamaha or the Honda.

 

Yamaha and Honda are pretty good to me.
