AC 650 work ethics?
#1
I was wondering how the 650 did pulling/working? I bought the 650 cause I was buying a farm and I want a machine that will do general farm work and play/hunt! So far I have only trail ridden it and it is impressive I was wondering if anyone had a chance to work thiers and if so how does it do. Mine is in the shop again, belt again at 110 miles they just can't seem to get it adjusted correct! ohwell thats what warranties are for after all its arctic cats for another 18 months, lol!! As always thanks for any output!

hey arcticcop,
i have a 04 650 and it is a working machine!!!!! just recently i plowed my foopd plot 1 1/2 acre, and you would have thought i was on a big a## tractor! we have about 100 acre's that i help maintain and with the help of the "mrp" rack system and the trailer hitch, and the towing rate of the AC my machine is more usefull than the kubota that we use. i only have 145 miles on my mackine but 100 of those miles it has been REALLY working!! hope this info is usefull!!

Yes that is the info Iwas looking for! I am buying a 64 acre farm that has been unmaintained for a while so lots of cutting and hauling brush. I also plan to do some wildlife mgt stuff so that is exactly what I needed thanks!

As much as I've bashed Arctic Cat in this forum and others for problems w/ my 650, it has run great with no problems since it's last visit to the dealer. Used it for work and play today... ran great!
I sprayed 8 acres of pasture at a friends today. I have a 100 gal. tow behind sprayer with a 16 foot boom on it, at 20 gal per acre the job was done in no time at all. My Foreman would pull the sprayer all day, but struggle a bit on hills with a full load. The 650 ran like it didn't even know it was towing anything. So far, so good.. My friend's property borders about 450 acres of gov't land, loaded with trails, hills, etc.. When I was done spraying I spent about an hour having fun. Only thing I think about now is how light the front end is. Have to replace those Goodyears. Got to get some 10" wide MudLites or Bearclaws on that front so it steers better, and some 12"s on the back. And then the Dynotek CDI, and....
