Default yamaha blaster???

hi, i wanted to get a raptor or even a banshee but i dont have the money and all of the sudden this guy that my dad works with is selling a blaster. i know it isnt real fast and it is kinda heavy, but is it any good? it is a 2002 blaster. he only wants 1,500 for it. and it is in good shape. i dont think there is any thing wrong with it. does any one know how fast stock ones go? can you jump with it? what are some real cheap and easy to install mods???

good mods are a pipe, intake filter, and rejet and it will be much faster it has ok speed about 55-60 top speed. it could probobly beat some stock 300ex's if ur a good enough rider, any jumps over 5 feet are gonna be pushing the stock shocks. i think that the price is OK, u might wanna wait or save up for somthing better if u were thinking about getting a banshee the blaster is gonna be a real step down from a banshee
