blaster rear brake does not release properly
#1
just adjusted my sons blaster rear brakes, worked perfect, then I opened up and filled with grease to keep out the water. put it back together and the brakes locked up. have taken apart about twenty times and cleaned piston, adjusted, etc, etc, etc. and they still want to not release properly. need help because I am heading to the sand in the morning. son is not happy with me.
thanks

The rear cable on the blaster has a problem of locking up and not releasing because it not only goes to the rear caliper, it also goes to the handle bars.
I had this same problem and went through alot of pads. The best thing to do is to buy a shorty cable from motion pro. It eliminates the parking brake and is only a cable that goes from the foot peg to the caliper.
I have been using this for a while in the sand and havnt had any problems.
