Are u talking about engine ice, because that stuff is purple. I have ran it before and i couldnt tell any difference. But some people believe in it.Lance

DSWOLF: Yes it does work, in a 350ci SBC it claims 15% - 20% cooler temps! We use it in every performance vehicle we own, My old IMCA stock car(dirt) stayed at 180' every night running wide open for 30 laps with mud caked on the grille, no air to the core except from the fan, that made me a believer, some guys will get their cars on up to 260', but they dont use engine ice.....my brother uses it in his IMCA modified but he is on alcohol anyways so he stays cool no matter what, and i also run it in my DS, and my 250R....the 250R is on alcohol and i have a helluva time gettin it warmed up.

Exactly the same results with my IMCA car, Purple ICE dropped my temps from 220-240 range down to 180-220 depending on the night, very firm believer if your racing or on the dunes all the time.

Thats exactly where i ran every sat night last year, not racing this year, trying to save some money. Takes lots of money to run at Boone. I have been to many tracks and the best drivers and competion is at Boone every week.
