WHERE TO GET A SET OF 10" REAR RIMS
#1
I BOUGHT A SET OFF EBAY. THEY SHOWED UP TODAY AND I MIGHT AS WELL HAVE GOTTEN 2 PICTURES FRAMES TO MOUNT REAR TIRES ON. THESE THINGS ARE HORRIBLE. I AM GOING TO TRY AND GET MY MONEY BACK. BUT I AM LEAVING THURSDAY FOR A 4 DAY RIDING TRIP AND NEED A SET OF TEN INCH REAR RIMS. SO I WILL PROBALLY HAVE TO GET NEXT DAY AIR. WHERE CAN I GET THEM?

In same boat. I was looking at Recreation Tires. Hope this helps.

Check with Fullerton Sand Tires, Joe Goodhand had some made up for the DS in .120, but they might be alittle flimsy for play riding.

I had a set of 10 x 10 rear DS 650 rims made up for my Sandskate II paddles. The only company that would do it is Douglas and they charged me $30 per rim extra. I also had front rims made 10 X 8 for my Razorbacks front tires. They also charged me $30 extra for each rim. Luckily, I was getting the distributer price so I basically was paying the retail price with the custom charge.
I like the extra floatation that the wider rims provide.
