If a person had another intake and wanted to play with his own port job, how bad could you screw it up. Other than blowing clear through the side of it, or leaving it too smooth, what other things could negatively effect a port job. I've ported heads on alot bigger engines before, but nothing like this. Just wondering if it's worth trying, or it's it a very fine art.

I did mine with ease. Not a problem. I have a pic posted of it on my pic page. Just watch on the top side where the top screw goes in, and dont take to much from there or u will come through the top of it. But if u have ported heads and stuff then u should do this no problem. There is alot of metal there. More then what everybody thinks there is. And another thing is to bring the ridge that is in the middle of the intake on the inside, bring those ridges all the way out to the end. If u look at mine u will see what i am talking about. If you have anymore questions just let me know and i will try my best to help.Lance
