Default 2000 big bear carb problem

Between last year and the previous I started having a problem. The atv will only run on full or half choke. I have tried to adjust the adjusting screw but no luck. It will also poor gas out of the bottom of the bottom when you first cut on the gas or if it is slightly out if level. Is there something besides rebuild it I can do? Is there any cleaning process that might help? Thanks

get a can of seafoam. read the directions. you can buy it at walmart, autozone, etc. its about 8 bucks. gumout and STP make their own versions too, for about a dollar less per can.

Dealing with a very hard to start Yamaha TTR225. 2001 model. Anyone have any recommendations on what to do with this carb short of throwing it away?

Start with the most over looked parts first,a new plug and clean air filter, fresh gas. If you also have good spark and compression, plus valve clearances have been checked/adjusted,may be time for good cleaning and rebuild.SHINDY CARB REPAIR KIT 92-00 XT225 00-04 TTR225 YAMAHA | eBay
