Just wonder if any of you fellow ATV'ers have any piercings? I have a 14g CBR in each ear lobe and a 16g CBR in my left ear cartalidge (sp?). The ear lobe piercings didnt hurt that much, but the cartalidge piercing hurt like a b!tch, and still does (got it done monday). For any of you out there that have a cartalidge piercing and wear a full face helment, do you recommend putting a stud in there? I am not sure whether the CBR will get caught on the helment?

 

I dont think they will, my friends wear them all the time while riding. I dont have any piercings, i dont really care too much for them (wouldnt mind a tongue piercing though), and im 16 and my parents would kill me. How old are you?

Just turned 19 in March. Im not to much into tattoos, so I decided that peircings would let me express my individualism. And they are a little less permanant. My mom and dad were a little iffy on my doing it, but I asked them to give me one good reason why girls can have piercings and guys cant, besides it being "tradition", and they couldnt give me a reason. So, I said im gonna do it. And did. I know plenty of guys that have peircings. I have 50 something year old professors in college with their ears pierced. And plenty of my fellow biker friends have piercings too. I see nothing wrong with it. But, I am stopping with the 3 that I got.

I have "some" piercings, and I love them! They are an addiction! I have my ear lobes done. 3 on one side and 1 on the other, I started stretching my first hole for pluggs, but changed my mind. I have my tragus pierced on my left ear, my navel twice (top and bottom) and my nose pierced. I plan on getting another one sometime soon and well as a tattoo of a crown on my left shoulder.

I would have to say that the tragus hurt the worst, but not that bad because that was the most recent one I had done and I want more [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

EDIT: Oh yeah, I wear a helmet and goggles and never have had a problem with anything being ripped out or even hurt.

 

I am very maticulas when it comes to keeping them clean. I clean then 3 times a day until they are fully healed. My cartalidge peircing though, I am putting neosporin on to help it heal quicker because I want it healed as much as it can be before I go riding.

 

They are an addiction!! I found that out after my first one. I may get more. If I do I will only do a few more in my ear lobes. No more cartalidge peircings[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] Those hurt! I would imagine that the tragus would hurt pretty bad too. OUCH!! What gauge did you do for that? I have my sister do mine because she has the 14g and 16g piercing needles and does a very sanatary job. Those were both pretty big needles for my first times[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]

Glad to hear I will be OK with the helment. I was a little worried about the cartalidge ring. Once it gets healed up a little more, I will try putting my helment on and see if it hurts to much. I may just put a stud in there for the weekend if it does hurt. I have a half helment that I wear on the Harley. That doesnt interfer with anything though.

 

I have a 10g in each of my ears and a 16g in my eye brow.

the eye brow still hasn't healed and I got it done in feb. cause poeple keep hittin it. I'm dreddin the day I have to put my helmet back on.

my next piercings are gonna be cartlige and lip.
