I am interested in trying to my hand at cross country/hare scrambles type racing. My ride is a bone-stock '00 Honda Recon. Are there any racing classes that my quad would be competitive in at all. I am mainly out to have a good time. I live in Missouri and would only be interested in local, in-state races.
Would I have to be an AMA member to participate in a race?

 

I run the Mid-east series, If you just want to run you can run your stock utility in the utility class. I think all you will have to do is sign up pay the money and race, at least that is the way you can do in the Mid-east. Good luck, enjoy and have fun.
