i was just wondering why there where so many post bout the rincon problems
I am a hard core yamaha fan but i love honda 2 n i cant believe ppl having so many problems....my rubicon broke 1 thing....a 2 inch piece of platic n dat it

For once a Yamahammer rider comes to the Red forum without talking smack! Just kiddin! Anyway, I have no personal experience, but it seems the Rincon's were lightened up from the factory to emphasize the "sport-utility" and to save some weight. This may be a reason for less than sturdy parts.

1 more question n kinda a good thing for da trx owners

although we can agree there are more yfz around than 450r (bc of yfz relased so early) but go to the yamaha forums n every 3rd or 4th thread has to do wit the yfz lol here htere are like 2-3 for the 450r

i broke alot of things on my yfz:
tie rods, axle, handle bars, hubs, rims (i do race hard n do superman of jumps....not always landing em)
is the the norm for a race machine or is it just yfz?

now dont get me wrong I LUV THE YFZ
(best race.....beating 450cc alchole fueled, trinty, banshee on dad moto track)

A lot of Yamaha guys do come over here just to give Honda riders a hard time about whatever they can, but they seem to REALLY push the "YFZ is better than 450R!" thing. It gets unbelievably annoying. I understand you weren't trying to start anything though.

 

Ya, I have noticed that...in the yamaha forum there is tons of threads on the yfz..and in here there is only a few 450R...which kind of stinks because I'm going to be investing in a 450R in a few months and I would like to read the threads on it...

..As for the back and forth bashing on the yfz and the trx.............I don't think it will ever end......I meen lets face it...they are both great quads...both have there advantages and disadvantages...but who wouldn't like to own either one????? am I right???

 

oh i know that this battle ova the yfz n 450r will neva end......n i hope it neva does lol

all i can say is it was a toss up......i couldnt wait another 4 months + to get the trx.......
at the time no one knew if a 450 was coming out either n when i whent to my fav dealer n he said "oh hey, you again!!!" "oh the new yfz...5200"
n i stood next to it n mouth jaw droped to the floor...."we get that a lot!" said the dealer
if the honda came out earlier i would have gotten dat!

n for all the 450r guys seeing in the races that are like a million yfz's n a few 450r's....remeber that the yfz came out way b4!!!

oh n i read the DW article "the yfz is better one" n i dissagree

Could you be more specific? I am not sure what you are referring to when you say that the Rincon has had so many problems. Then Redgoblin mentioned parts breakage. I have not heard of any parts breakage, only things like O-rings needing to be replaced in the tranny, lack of power on some, stalling, things like that. Please be specific and fill us all in on the problems you are referring to. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]
