I am kind of new here as far as posting but have been kind of lurking off in the distance for a while. I have been impressed with the wealth of information on this site and am hoping someone might be able to help me.

I just picked up a 98 Timberwolf that seems to have a starting problem. I bought a new battery for it because the old one was shot, and now it doesn't seem to want to start while using the electric start. It cranks over fast and furious but will not fire. The odd thing is, if I pull it by the pull starter it fires and runs on the first pull.

Does anyone have any ideas???
