sponsorship??

The guy that bought my 2 suzuki 230s saw my new 300ex and said that if I ever want that he would sponser me(pay for entry, some parts, and put his companys name on it.). Whats everyones opinion?

i would make sure that your comfortable with racing first, there are a lot of things that go with it. Sometimes being sponsored puts extra pressure on you to push yourself that much further. And thats usually when something bad happens. I saw that this past weekend with a buddy that i race with. His sponser told him that if he got in first place he would pay in full a new axle. He went to big off one of the jumps and got hurt real bad. But on the other hand, sponsorships can be helpful and encourage you to put better. I am sponsored and love it. He put no pressure on me and it doesnt matter how i do, i get the same amount of money. Find the right person and it will work out for you. hope i helped! Thanks
