Whats the difference bewteen the two?????? Iam looking to trade a guy who has a 400x scrambler is there much of a dirrerence bewteen the two?!!!???? PLEASE POST

500=4 stroke 400=2 stroke. From what I hear (have not seen) the 400 is faster and can be modded more.

 

2 stroke is always easier to get more power cheaply than a 4 stroke. The 400 out of the box is quiker. You will be happy with the 400, it is so easy to make them fast...

 

In fact I and all my friends got smoked this weekend by a 400x sport with a 440big bore and port kit and pipe with no clutching and just geared down at the sprockets. the thing was beating piped and ported banshees, in fact almost everything out there!!!!

 

not to change the subject but how will the 400 fair against the pred. i did't realize that the 400 was that fast

stock and stock the pred is faster but with mods it is easy for a 400 to beat a pred.

 

That very 400 is on the www.lakesmotorsports.com site for sale. And yes that one will stomp the preditor. Hell, I was stoping preditors out there and I didn't even have paddles. I had to have it in 4x4 though...
