Default Front fender problem on Pred (black piece removal)

Hey guys......i need some help quickly.....My problem evolves from the front black plastic piece....I removed the headlights and just found some replacement covers that require you to pinch them between the black and grey piece. My question is: How do I get the black piece off of the grey piece?? I don't want to ruin anything, or break the plastic...and I want it to be in a good enough condition so I can put it back on. Thanks for the help guys.....reply quickly please!!

What gray piece are you talking about? The metal bracket that holds the plastic to the frame.

I'm talking about the front fenders....and the front fenders consist of the fenders(gray piece) and a black nose piece.....I want to seperate the two pieces.

Good Luck man. After i had my "crash" i took my pred down to the frame to check it out. There is clips on the underside of the nose piece that go into the grey one, you can squeeze them with a pair of pliers and pull on the nose piece at the same time and it should come apart i could only get 3 of the clips to compress and come lose, after messing with it for a while i said "screw it" i'll end up cracking the plastic. Its a pain but it can be done just take your time...

I just bought some new rath headlight replacement covers(the plastic/chrome looking ones), and they are supposed to be mounted between the two pieces of plastic...I suppose to keep it tight. I also bought some "pro pegs" they are very nice, and extremely sharp.....you can almost cut your hand by touching them. I'll have to post some pics soon, the headlight covers are very "bling-bling"

If you slide off your front plastic, flip it over, and you'll see the tabs you have to release. Easy stuff. Should be lookin' smooth once you have 'em installed.
