2004LEBANSHEE - You had me there for a second!

Thanks for the ego boost everyone. Now I just have to get it running again and see if I can get some good times out of it.

As for the cylinder, I don't yet know what's up. I broke it in on Friday, made one pass at the strip on Saturday, then noticed an oil leak around the base gasket. I found the little allen bolt on the side there was loose so I torqued it to specs. Made my second pass and oil was spraying out from around the base gasket area. Shut her down, towed it back to the pits and when I wiped the oil away I saw the crack. The only thing I can figure is that when the Yammie shop put the top end back together for me they either didn't torque the cylinder bolts correctly, or they got the different length bolts mixed up.

Anyway, I am going to take it back to them, have them tear it down, and see what is up. If the bolts are loose or not in the right order, then they owe me a new 102mm cylinder plus labor cost. If not, then I don't know. I haven't thought that far ahead yet.

I won't be at Aledo this year, but hopefully next year. This year it has been one problem after another. It is June now and I bet you I haven't gotten to ride more than 6 times.
