Default 2.5 warn on grizzly 04

I had a warn 2.5 put on my grizzly when i bought it and i was curious if the frame could really take 2500 pounds of force. I find it hard to beleive it wouldn't just tear the front of the frame off. has anyone here pulled on these to where they has stalled out?

Several times. Don't worry. The weight rating of those winches is rated according to force applied to the rotor. You will find it is easier than you think to stall them. The best use of a winch in very stuck situations is to provide a constant force on what you are pulling and will work best if the bike you are pulling (be it you or someone else) is using the engine as well as the winch. You will like your 2500. We have one on an 04 grizz. It's very handy and capable but don't worry about your frame. It won't hurt it.
