I got a brother thats 19 nearly 20 makes about 2 grand a month has his truck paid off he has no bills besides insurance and phone bill he can sell his truck for what he has into it currently its a 99 toyota with 168,000 miles on it i think he should sell it before the engine goes out.. what do you guys think its manual tranny and it leaks oil not just a slow leak but a drizzle lol do u think he should sell it before he has to drop a new engine in it??

Where is it leaking oil? He's not going to get a lot out of it if its leaking oil, but if he just needs a new drain plug its not that big of a deal. Nothing wrong with keeping it going and saving your money too.

 

its leaking oil just about everywhere its got 160,000 miles too. thats just a stop sign right there and when u can afford another truck why not get out of it for what u got into it before you have to put a new engine in it and later on after that a new tranny

i was joking, but hes not going to get much if its leaking everywhere. what did he pay for it?

 

he got it for 5 put new tires and new clutch book is 8500 or sumthing and similar ones are selling for around 10 lol he wants to get 8 out of it its not leaking everywhere we cant figure out wehre actually but its not drain plug or oil pan gasket its not like a crazy leak like we never have to put new oil in it till 3000 miles or 3 months u know but it leaks on the board we got under it i just see the rings frying here sometime or something going wrong sense it has 160,000 miles on it u know but ill be back later we are gonna go look at trucks right now i kinda talked him into it and what not so ttyl
