With the stock gearing/tires on a raptor what would the theoretical top speed be when you hit the rev limiter in 5th gear if you were not hp limited?

 

Im not sure, but im sure i wouldnt want to be on that ride lol. Anyone else? Im curious too

No disrespect or anything, but 72mph? I mine right now goes little over 75...76 MAYBE.. and im definatly no where near hitting the rev limiter. My mods are mediocore at most. Not tryin to call anyone a liar, but 72 is prolly stock mph.

 

I dont disagree at all. but the bolt on Mod's you have wont give you more then a few mph.. I really do doubt thats not topped out... If you want to see a drastic change you will need to go into the motor..

If you mean hp was not a option the rev limter would stop it all unless you got into the gear wiring... I could have a 800 hp raptor but the rev limiter would stop the rev no matter what.. Exept it would still go extreamy fast.. SKYS THE LIMIT

 

With my Alba stage 3 kit I hit 80mph even on I-79 running through a radar. But wasn't against the limiter in 5th...but was close. That was stock tires and gearing.

 

Somewhere I have seen a speed calculator, maybe someone can post a link, or you can seach for it.
