i have a yfz450 and i was ridin the other day and i noticed coolant slowly driping out of the weep hole underneath the water pump. its barely leaking like a drop every 5 minutes if that much. whats this mean and is it okay to still ride it.

 

That normally means the water pump is going out.

 

It's a common problem. You may need to reseal the water pump.

 

My Raptor did it and purchased a new water pump and then it quit the second day. I just carry it with me so if it does go out I will have one handy. That was over a year ago and it still has not leaked again.

 

yea i noticed it leaking when i first went out that day but later when i went out to check it out i let it run for awhile watching it and it wasn't leaking.
